Stage 2 of Circle Line (between Marymount and Bartley) is opening in 28th May 2009. Stations that are open are Bartley, Serangoon, Lor Chuan, Bishan and Marymount.

Fantasy route amendment of service 49.

Service 49 will be amended to ply Tampines Ave 2, Simei town and ITE College East and finally Bedok South areas with effect from 26th July 2008. It aims to improve links from Simei, Bedok South areas to other parts of Singapore.
